I don't know if I'd bite. There's no iPhone service plan I want to pay for, even if they are magical, magical devices!

DeleteNo, don't do mobile phones at all. My 80y/o MIL does, but i don't. I don't like that people can follow me anywhere , anytime x
ReplyDeleteI remember about fifteen years ago my brother refused to talk to me until I got a phone. It was his way of forcing me into the communications future ;D

DeleteI am with Kim as to where was the kid's mom while the Iphone dealin' kid is negotiating a deal with a homeless guy. I don't quite get how they could sentence the guy for larceny when the kid took money for the phone. If there was a law against being an idiot that is what he should of been charged with.
ReplyDeleteI guess they figured he had to know that the kid didn't own the phone, therefore it was accepting stolen property. Mind you, one of the parties is three years old so I'm not sure if logic really has that much to do with it.
DeleteFun article! I'm hopelessly old fashioned ~ don't have a cell phone! Grand larceny seems a bit harsh though.
ReplyDeleteI resisted getting a mobile for years, but eventually I caved. I did get rid of my landline phone though in protest! They could make me get a mobile, but they couldn't make me have both!
