When victim blaming takes on a new and incredibly disturbing dimension...

Source
You all know how I feel about victim blaming, so it won't come as any surprise that I had opinions about Nigella Lawson's situation with her husband, and the comments made by a certain Melbourne radio DJ about it.

If you want to read about it, you can go to my article at Sprocketink.com [link] and weigh in on the topic!

  1. That DJ seriously needs to pull her head from her ass. Those comments were disgusting.

  2. Yuck. Time to get back to the good old days when DJ's played music and thats it.

  3. Is that the same station that shamed the nurse into suicide? If so they may just need to go off the air now. If not they should consider a suspension.

  6. I agree with the others that this DJ has no business in deciding who should or shouldn't be a victims right advocate. I was a victim of a crime when I was younger and have chosen not to associate with advocacy groups dealing with that crime as it is a painful reminder that keeps me from moving past it. That should be my right.
